As you play you make notes and collect data on them so you know how to play them. In a cash game, it can work but usually after you have spent quite some time playing them and either LOST MONEY gaining information or MISSED OPPORTUNITIES TO WIN MONEY while you gather your intel. Imagine sitting down at a table and INSTANTLY having some information ON SCREEN about a number of your opponents and you've NEVER PLAYED THEM BEFORE! This program has saved me THOUSANDS of dollars already in the first few months of using it! It supports all of the most popular poker sites too! Every time you sit down at a table it loads the HUD (Heads Up Display) and every player that has been tracked in the central database has their stats right there in front of you to work from. A lot of key stats are right on the table just by hovering your cursor over thier icon you get a wealth of data such as what an opponents potential for a C-Bet is, what is his win percent if he raises preflop, how often he raisese preflop, what his win percentage is if he bets the flop or raises the flop and up to 20 more key stats ALL of which are fully customizable by you FOR you the way YOU play and the info YOU want.
For even GREATER details, you can click on their names in the lookup window and click through the tabs for EACH STREET and know what they do and WHEN they do it. To make it even SIMPLER each player has an icon by them on the table so you know instantly who the sharks, mice, rocks, maniacs, calling stations, fish and bombs are. How it works: Every time a PE (Poker-Edge) user sits at a table, the program gathers all the stats on all the players at the table in real time as they play. Every few minutes it sends this information to the central databases, sorts it, and sends it back to every PE user. So your HUD is constantly updated with current intel on your opponent. If any opponent was played by a PE user, the minute you sit at that opponents table, you will have the collective data of ALL the PE users that have played that opponent before right there at your table as if you yourself had played him for 50 hands, 500 hands, 50,000 hands and MORE! In addition, you also will have data on PRO PLAYERS! That's right, I demo'd this program and was playing a number of pros at FULL TILT and used historical data from PE to BEAT THEM! Maybe you are just starting out. You can read books, play some play money games, learn some basics and try your hand at real money games. Maybe you'll do ok. But probably you'll do like many do and waste a year of time working on your game and reloading and losing a few grand in that time frame before discovering PE. THE AVERAGE POKER PLAYER LOSES MONEY! That's just a simple fact of life. Most tournaments have prizes for the top 15-30% of the entrants seated. Everyone else LOSES! Do you want to be an average player? HECK no! You have to be an above average player in order to win at poker. It's a game of skill, numbers, statistics odds AND players with some luck thrown in on the cards dealt. HOW you play them is what is important. You aren't going to get dealt AA more than once in 230 hands or so on average statistically.
